Lux y fuerza

Settling in now, getting lost in my neighbourhood a bit less, as my legs tell me head to sharpen up and remember street names and landmarks. The weather has been pleasant here, a bit on the humid side but very bearable.

Torrential rain now though, and the sky looks like a flickering fluorescent lightbox. It has been lighting up every 5 seconds or so for the past hour and it is absolutely roaring out there with thunder, my deck chairs trembling in response. It is the day before major Semana Santa events, so maybe this is one major, major prelude of things to come. Confess! Or else! Lux y fuerza - the forecast for thundershowers was bang on for today. But good thing the day itself was clear and sunny.
